Conmebol Libertadores Feminina, the most important women’s club football tournament in South America, reaches a new milestone with the addition of five global sponsors to date, two local partners and one local sponsor, the highest number in the history of the competition. BetPlay occupies the position of local sponsor.

According to the official website of the entity responsible for managing and organizing football on the South American continent, Amstel, Coca-Cola, EA Sports, Mastercard and Mercado Livre are confirmed for all editions of the new cycle (2023-2026).

The agreements are the result of Conmebol’s strategy to move towards greater equality and promote women’s football in South America, establishing alliances with companies that have the same vision.

This season’s edition will also feature DHL and Powerade as Global Partners. Furthermore, due to the relevance of the competition in the host country, an opportunity arose in the sports betting category, closing with BetPlay as local sponsor.

Women’s Libertadores

The 15th edition of the Women’s Libertadores is being played in Colombia, in the cities of Bogotá and Cali. The competition started last Thursday, October 5th, ending on October 21st.

The ten Member Association countries are being represented by 16 teams in the competition. Brazil has three representatives: Corinthians and Internacional (finalists in last year’s Brazilian Women’s Championship) and Palmeiras (current Libertadores champion).

It is worth noting that the competition is held in a short format in a single country with the group stage, while the quarterfinals, semi-finals and final take place in single games.
