Thus, bettors in Mississippi invested $44.5 million in sports in March, a 4.7% drop compared to March 2023, but 41% ahead of February of this year.

Mississippi coastal casinos took in $30.2 million in bets and $1.9 million in revenue. Central casinos accounted for $8.9 million and $1 million in sports bets. As for Northern casinos, players spent $5.5 million, with revenue reaching $468,058.

Therefore, the Mississippi sports betting market has stood out in the United States. In 2020, the state recorded a turnover of approximately US$364 million. This shows the enthusiasm of local residents for betting on various sports.

However, unlike other states like Tennessee, Mississippi has a strong retail sports betting presence. Because locals are not allowed to use online sports betting outside of the casino environment.
