PointsBet’s Canadian subsidiary, PointsBet Canada, has formed sports betting partnerships with two of the country’s champion curling teams: Team Einarson and Team Koe.

After being named Curling Canada’s official sports betting partner, the operator is back on ice as it doubles its dedication to the winter sport. Einarson and Koe are among the top teams in the world of professional curling, and will work with PointsBet to promote the activity.

Scott Vanderwel, Head of Execution at PointsBet Canada, welcomed the partnerships and reiterated his company’s commitment to all Canadian activities.

“PointBet Canada prides itself on its excellence. That’s why we’re joining two of the best curling teams in our country,” said Vanderwel. “We are exclusively Canadian and we want to support athletes and teams who embody our love of the sport and the maple leaf.”

Both teams have an impressive track record, with Einarson team player Kerri Einarson leading her team to victory in the 2021 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

“We are excited to partner with PointBet Canada,” said the two-time national champion. “PointsBet has an incredible passion for curling and will grow our sport across Canada.”

Likewise, Kevin Koe, two-time world champion, four-time Canadian champion and Canadian men’s team player at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, was also enthusiastic about his team’s partnership with PointsBet.

“We are proud to have a world-class operator like PointsBet Canada on our team,” commented Koe. “Our sport is evolving, and fans are interacting with us in new and exciting ways. The PointsBet collaboration will take curling to the next level.”
