Blaze na BIS SiGMA

The participation of women in the iGaming industry was the topic of a panel held in São Paulo last Tuesday (23). But even before the opening of BiS SiGMA, a reference event for the universe of betting and online gaming, the table with executives who work in the segment included Frances Kintana, director of Human Resources at Blaze.

She took her own experience to the space to talk about the importance of working with different perspectives.

Women make a difference at Blaze

“I’m from the Philippines. It’s a country in Asia, about 12 thousand miles from here. The woman here is a product of diversity and inclusion in the iGaming industry. I think this is very powerful because having cultural differences means having different perspectives”, reported the executive.

“But I’m not just talking about having women, it’s important to say that we have people from different backgrounds, repertoires and profiles in our organization. We talk about gender diversity, culture and neurodiversity. We understand this and understanding is a very important for the company. It’s something we exercise a lot.”

“We do not believe in solutions that suit everyone, but rather in individualized construction. So, thinking about good practices, I would like to quote an excerpt from our manifesto: we value a collaborative network above the hierarchical structure. So, as leaders, it’s important to listen, understand and take the time to process,” he added.

Frances’ participation marked Blaze’s first action at BiS SiGMA, an event in which the online betting and gaming company is one of the sponsors. The convention ends this Thursday (25) and the company will be represented by different areas, with a focus on establishing strategic partnerships in the local market.

BIS Sigma expects more than 10 thousand visitors

BiS SiGMA is the union of two events. On the one hand, it contains the local history of four editions of BiS (Brazilian iGaming Summit), a meeting of companies and professionals who are part of the iGaming, bettech and sports betting ecosystem. On the other hand, it presents as a novelty the SiGMA brand, a global leader in events about games of chance, casinos and betting houses.

The event in São Paulo has 20 thousand square meters and 230 exhibitors, with the expectation of surpassing the mark of 10 thousand visitors during the event. It is the first edition since the SiGMA group announced the purchase of BiS last year.

Therefore, it presents a broad proposal, with spaces for affiliates, operators, lectures and debates, very focused on B2B.
