On the eve of BiS SiGMA Americas, the region’s biggest iGaming event, SOFTSWISS, a leading global software provider with 15 years of experience, introduced racing legend Rubens Barrichello as its Non-Executive Director in Latin America.
Local press, influencers and industry representatives attended the launch event, expressing widespread interest in SOFTSWISS as the company actively expands its presence in the region.
During the official introduction, Ivan Montik, Founder of SOFTSWISS, and Rubens Barrichello shared the company’s plans for the Brazilian market, commented on local gambling regulations and answered questions about the former pilot’s role in the group.

Given the constant news about gambling regulation, Montik commented: “We are waiting for the final version of the Brazilian law, scheduled to be released in July this year.
Understanding the regulatory landscape will guide our efforts to adapt to software requirements and deliver solutions to the market. Our goal is to collaborate closely with local operators and businesses, empowering them with robust software tools tailored to their needs.”
Addressing security concerns, Ivan Montik emphasized: “Ensuring the security of our software solution has always been paramount. It’s been a core strength for us since the beginning.

The appointment of Rubens Barrichello as Non-Executive Director in Latin America represents a key strategic step for SOFTSWISS, especially in the fast-growing market of Brazil.
With projections from TGM Research indicating that by 2026, Brazil’s iGaming industry could generate gross revenues of 2.3 billion euros, potentially representing 1% of Brazil’s GDP, which stands at 1.5 trillion euros.
