ST Sotf is accredited to Loterj (Rio de Janeiro State Lottery) and will operate sports betting and online games in Rio de Janeiro.
A pioneer in the regulation of betting houses in Brazil, on Wednesday, November 1st, Loterj registered the brands of four authorized companies: Best Bet (formerly Loto Carioca), Pixbet and MarjoSports, in addition to ST Sotf.
In an official note, Loterj stressed that “it has been working intensively in regulating bookamkers. The work carried out by the authority has been noticed by large companies that seek security for their bettors”.
“With the Loterj Accreditation Notice, companies have the opportunity to act in accordance with the proposed regulations. Also promoting the economy in legal ways”, stated in the official statement.
MarjoSports Accreditation
MarjoSports recently became officially accredited to Loterj. The company was the first to have iLottery.
For MarjoSports, the regulation of sports betting in Brazil brings security in several areas.
“Our company has always been following discussions and actions to regulate sports betting in Brazil. And, taking measures to guarantee legal and digital security for our client”, stated MarjoSports Marketing Manager, Caio Casé at the time.
“Joining LOTERJ is another important step for our company, which is already consolidated in the market and continues to grow.”
