Rei do Pitaco is now one of the largest daily fantasy game platforms in Brazil, where users can set up lineups with players from professional football leagues and score according to the statistical performance of these athletes in real-life matches.
And so win cash prizes, of course. In these three years, the platform has already distributed more than BRL 30 million in prizes.
In today’s interview, iGaming Brazil talks to Kiko Augusto, co-founder and CEO of the company, which addresses topics such as technology, software engineering, eSports analytics, Sportstech, the Brazilian Fantasy Game scenario and among others.
Kiko talks about how he met Mateus Dantas, his partner and fellow countryman, and how the two friends, with equal passions (sports, football) realized a common dream.
Only 3 years after its creation, today they already have stars in their team. He also talks about the newest acquisition, the hiring of the new ambassador, Endrick, from Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, who has just signed a 3-year contract with them.
Endrick’s contract with Rei do Pitaco was negotiated by Wolff Sports, the exclusive sports marketing agency for managing the player’s sponsorship contracts. It provides for the athlete’s presence in events, advertising campaigns, as well as in customized sportstech actions.
