Casa de Apostas and Bahia will support the Christmas Without Hunger solidarity campaign

Current partner of Bahia, Casa de Apostas will carry out an action aimed at contributing to the solidarity campaign Christmas without Hunger. Ação da Cidadania, a non-governmental organization (NGO) is promoting activities to mobilize the population to collaborate with people in conditions of social vulnerability.

In this way, each real donated will correspond to a meal. In addition to the charity campaign, the sports betting company will encourage volunteer work and will allocate food dishes based on the number of active players on its platform.

Rodrigo Afonso, the executive director of Ação da Cidadania, said: “Christmas Without Hunger symbolizes our struggle and hope for better days for the population that has been suffering from lack of food. The expectation is that this will be the biggest campaign in the history of the NGO, we hope to raise at least R$ 30 million to be able to take food to families across the country”.

Casa de Apostas wants to show that it ‘cares about society and seeks to help others’

To start this mobilization, the brand of the Christmas Without Hunger campaign will be on the uniform of Bahia players from the match against Flamengo, this Thursday, 11th, at Maracanã. The game will be valid for the Brazilian Championship.

The activation aims to arouse the interest of Brazilians, because this action needs help to carry out the entire operation, and can become an ambassador or place of collection of donations. According to the website MKT Esportivo, the mobilization will take place until December 10th.

“We believe in the power of sport and football to be a great vector of information and change in people’s behavior. By carrying out actions that address issues of great relevance and social reach, we show that the Casa de Apostas , the first and true ‘Brazilian Bookmaker’, cares about society and seeks to help others”, concluded Hans Schleier, the director of Casa de Apostas marketing.
