Soft2Bet, a leading casino and sports betting platform provider, has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) and activated its membership in Ontario, Canada, following its licensing in the Canadian province.

Soft2Bet takes a huge step by joining IBIA

Soft2bet obtained its Certificate of Registration with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) in late March, where the company’s Ontario-focused Tooniebet.com brand will now power the world’s leading online integrity monitoring platform. IBIA sports betting, ahead of its worldwide implementation in the coming months.

IBIA includes more than 50 of the world’s leading sports betting and gaming companies, which operate more than 125 sports betting brands. Soft2Bet’s decision to join the association further reinforces its own internal betting integrity protocols and IBIA’s position as the world’s leading sports betting integrity monitoring body.

What is IBIA

IBIA is a non-profit organization that has no competitive conflicts with the provision of commercial services to other sectors and is managed by operators and for operators. Therefore, the objective is to protect regulated sports betting markets against match manipulation.

The IBIA global network is a highly effective anti-corruption tool that detects and reports suspicious activity in regulated betting markets.

The IBIA monitoring network tracks transactional activity linked to individual customer accounts. IBIA members generate over $300 billion in annual betting volume.

This represents approximately 50% of the global physical and online regulated sports betting sector, with more than 50% in the online sector alone.

The IBIA recently published a report on the availability of sports betting products, where Ontario is one of the main regulated gaming jurisdictions. Only in physical games for sports betting were 92% in 2024, expected to increase to 97% in 2028.

Thus, IBIA currently represents more than 60% of private licensed sports betting operators in the province. All licensed online sports betting operators in Ontario must be part of a betting integrity oversight body.

The IBIA report for the first quarter of 2024 presented 56 alerts during the quarter. IBIA’s warnings contributed to the investigations and subsequent successful sanctioning of 21 clubs, players and officials in 2023, an increase from the 15 sanctioned in 2022.
