With the presence of political names and businesspeople from the sector, Talk Mercado de Jogo – What’s your bet? will bring to discussion the future of the sports betting market, which is growing exponentially in Brazil.
The vote on the bill that regulates the sector is scheduled to take place in the Senate Plenary this Tuesday, 12th.
The debate, which will take place on the same day, is organized by Future Is Now (FIN), a networking group that brings together leaders of national and multinational companies.
Led by executive Laís Macedo, FIN already brings together 200 businesspeople. One of its pillars is the promotion of events to discuss topics with a great impact on the market, such as games.
“From August 2022 to August 2023 alone, the segment grew 135%. And, in the first eight months of this year, 221 companies were opened, according to data collected by Datahub”, said Laís Macedo, founder and president of Future Is Now.
“Added to this increase in audience and market movement, the sector’s regulatory process – making the Talk promoted by Future Is Now even more relevant and dynamic”, he added.
Format of the debate on the betting market
Therefore, there will be two debate tables, one to talk about the economic aspect of the sector and the other about regulation.
