The volleyball club season in Brazil began with the clash between Dentil/Praia Clube and Gerdau Minas for the Bet7k Super Cup.
The two teams have in their squad players who were part of the women’s team that secured the Olympic place for the Paris 2024 Games.
A few days after deciding the Campeonato Mineiro, Minas and Praia Clube returned to the court to fight for another title.
Unlike the state clash, which ended with the victory of the Uberlândia team, on Friday, at Arena Hall, in Belo Horizonte, Minas got the better of it, won by 3 sets to 0, and won the Super Cup for the first time.
New co-sponsor raises the level of Brazilian volleyball
