Bookmakers promote 'Respect Football' campaign

Ten bookmakers carried out a campaign last weekend asking for respect for Brazilian football. The ANJL (National Association of Games and Lotteries) carried out the action in partnership with the companies during the games of series A and B of the Brasileirão.

The movement has the following sports betting houses: Betano, Betfast.io, Estrela Bet, Bet Nacional, Esportes da Sorte, mrJack.bet, PixBet, PagBet, Aposta Ganha, Parimatch. In May, the Public Ministry of Goiás carried out the 2nd phase of the Maximum Penalty operation, which investigates a scheme of manipulation of results in Brazilian football in competitions in 2022 and this year.

According to the press release, the action of the bookmakers and the ANJL seeks to value the integrity of the sport. The campaign appeared on the shirts of the players of some teams, in the space that would belong to the sponsoring brand. Stadium led panels also showed the hashtag. A video of the campaign was released by the Artplan agency. It is narrated by football commentator Galvão Bueno. Sports personalities also participated in the video, such as Hulk, Marcelinho Carioca, Zico and Petković.
