Betano, a renowned online sports betting company in Brazil, announced a new sponsorship agreement for the sixth edition of the Brazilian Super Cup. The competition – which opens the national football season – puts Flamengo, champion of the Copa do Brasil, and Palmeiras, winner of the Brazilian Championship, face to face.

The match will be held at Estádio Mané Garrincha, in Brasília (DF), on January 28, starting at 4:30 pm. The betting brand had acquired the property in the Copa do Brasil in a contract valid until 2025, in addition to the Supercopa do Brasil.

Betano has a large presence in the domestic market, and is also the master sponsor of Atlético-MG and Fluminense. Alexandre Fonseca, national manager of Betano, commented: “The acquisition of the naming rights for the Supercopa comes as a natural consequence of the acquisition of the naming rights for the 2023 Copa do Brasil”.

“By investing in the main sports competitions in the country, Betano helps to promote the sports industry, strengthens its brand and positions itself increasingly towards market leadership”, added Fonseca.

In addition to the agreement reached including the naming rights and official sponsor status, the bookmaker will have actions during the match, with its logo present on: central event signature panel, LED panels throughout the field, in addition to of the 3D mats and the center mat in midfield, pre-match and half-time.

The company will also have a brand presence on the stadium’s envelope, as well as: on the benches, during the team’s entry protocol and at the time of awarding the match – delivery of medals and the champion’s trophy in 2023.

The partnership was mediated by the agency Brax Sports Assets, commercial manager of the competition, which assisted in the terms of the contract.
