FanDuel announces new TV spot featuring four PGA Tour golfers

FanDuel Group has announced that a new TV spot featuring four professional golfers will premiere during this week’s US Open.

The 30-second commercial is scheduled to run through February 2023, and includes appearances by Abraham Ancer, Will Zalatoris, Harold Varner III and current FanDuel PGA Tour partner Jordan Spieth.

The Flutter brand previously extended its content and marketing relationship with the Tour for an additional three years, until 2024. Consequently, FanDuel said this latest announcement “highlights” the “continued growth” of its relationship with the PGA Tour.

In addition to appearing in the brand’s new commercial, all four golfers will work alongside FanDuel on social media to include increased odds and content around free-to-play initiatives. FanDuel will also have access to your names and likenesses.

“Golf continues to be one of the fastest growing sports on our platform and as we value our partnership with the PGA Tour so much, we are excited to have yet another great action with the PGA Tour,” said Mike Raffensperger, Director of Marketing at FanDuel.

“Jordan was once a fantastic partner and we look forward to expanding our list of golf ambassadors with the addition of Abe Ancer, Will Zalatoris and Harold Varner III.”

This latest development also highlights FanDuel’s commitment to a more aggressive customer acquisition strategy.

Peter Jackson, CEO of Flutter, previously said that the US-focused brand will continue to “move very strongly” in customer acquisition despite cutting other operators.

For example, to celebrate the US Open, new sports betting customers can bet $5 and receive $200 in free bets through June 21st.
