The man who invaded the lawn during Super Bowl 55 last Sunday said he won $ 375,000 by betting that someone would invade the field in the NFL final. – in this case, he was responsible for making the bet come true.

In an interview with Wild radio, Yuri Andrade explained that he found, days before the game, a way to make money from the game through a betting website. The option was simple: if there was a field invasion at Super Bowl 55, the customer would receive $ 750 (R $ 4,000) for every $ 100 (R $ 538) wagered.

The 31-year-old Brazilian did not think twice, invested in the move and got, together with a friend, tickets to the match. The strategy was simple: make the colleague disperse the security guards at the time of the invasion. And it worked: with a pink bathing suit, he managed to run and even slid over the Bucs’ endzone before being caught.

The two ended up arrested on account of the lawsuit and paid $ 1,000 (R $ 5,300) bail. According to the website TMZ Sports, a representative of the betting site Bovada said that the company launched an investigation and that it identified some irregularities, which could result in the loss of the money won by Yuri in the bet.

Super Bowl 55 ended with a Tampa Bay Buccaneers win against the Kansas City Chiefs.
