Exclusive- Witoldo Hendrich Jr. comments on the non-regulation of Sports Betting

Reaching the maximum period of four years established by Law 13,756, on December 12th and now past the 19th (date on which the text was republished, four years ago), which legalized Fixed Odds Sports Betting without the signature of the President Jair Bolsonaro, Brazil is left without a licensing model, making the operations of companies in the Sports Betting sector even more difficult.

Many bet on this legalization and it did not come. Taxes were lost, money that could have been converted to works and projects within Brazil. Job creation, standardization, etc.

But even so, expectations are still high for the project to be voted on next year.

So we asked for the opinion of another specialist in the legal matter of Sports Betting, Witoldo Hendrich Jr., founding partner of Hendrich Advogados, to find out: What changes from now on?
