Tottenham Hotspur are set for a sponsorship change on their training kits. According to SportBusiness, the delivery company Getir will no longer have its brand printed on it. Thus, the BetMGM bookmaker will take its place from next season.

Since the 2021/2022 season, Turkish company Getir has been associated with Spurs, having signed a three-year contract and becoming the club’s global sponsor, introducing its brand to the team’s training kits.

However, facing financial challenges, Getir has already announced its withdrawal from the US and European markets. In a new strategy, it will concentrate its efforts on the domestic market.

In addition to Tottenham, BetMGM has agreements with Newcastle, City and Wolverhampton

On the other hand, BetMGM has established its presence in the Premier League, having partnerships with Newcastle, Manchester City and Wolverhampton.

This replacement represents a significant change in Tottenham’s sponsorship strategy. BetMGM aims to expand its presence and brand recognition. It seeks this through this association with one of the Premier League‘s top clubs.

With the entry of BetMGM, the football club is expected to further capitalize on its global presence. While the gaming sector group will take advantage of this exposure in national and international competitions.
