With the support and investment of bookmakers, the capitals of the Southeast experienced a turnover of almost R$9 billion during the 2024 Carnival.

Thus, Rio led with R$5 billion, followed by São Paulo with R$2.9 billion, Belo Horizonte with R$943 million and Vitória with R$30 million.

Online betting saw Carnival as an opportunity to attract new players, highlighting its entertainment nature.

In São Paulo, Galera.bet was one of the highlights, significantly increasing its investments and becoming the main sponsor of the event.

Bookmaker executives talk about Carnival 2024

Marcos Sabiá, CEO of Galera.bet, highlighted: “This year, we quadrupled our investments compared to 2023, even becoming master sponsors of Carnival, signing a contract with Liga-SP.”

In Rio, Esportes da Sorte invested in the parade, supporting samba schools and closing contracts to sponsor Carnival in other cities, such as Recife.

While the Pixbet platform signed a partnership with Liesa, guaranteeing exposure at the sambadrome and other activations.

In Minas Gerais, Bet7k contributed to the creation of 26 street blocks, strengthening its presence and supporting local popular culture.

Thalita Lacerda, CEO of Bet7k, highlighted: “We were present at several parties and events and also at the Belo Horizonte street carnival.”

“The Carnival held in the capital of Minas Gerais contributed to the consolidation of the brand and encouraged popular culture.”

These partnerships and investments have not only boosted the local economy, but also fostered a more immersive experience for partygoers.
