The bookmaker Pixbet can expand its partnership with Flamengo, one of the main football clubs in Brazil.
The information was revealed by the club’s vice-president of communications and marketing, Gustavo Oliveira, in an interview with the Maquinista podcast, on the Máquina do Esporte portal.
Currently, the sports betting company’s brand occupies a space near the collar of the team’s shirt. From 2024, Pixbet can take over the most noble space on the Rio club’s uniform.
“We made a contract with Pixbet, in which it guarantees that it will be with Flamengo. More than the shirt, it guarantees that it will be with Flamengo and its fans, through social media, FlaTV and so on”, he told the Maquinista podcast.
According to Oliveira, the insertion of the brand in the centralized part of the uniform would result in a change in the level of the agreement between the parties. “The placement on the shirt is visibility, which would be R$45 million for the clavicle or R$85 million for the master”, he explained.
Currently, BRB (Banco de Brasília) is Flamengo’s master sponsor and has priority in negotiations.
Also according to the team director, the definition of the new main partner should take place at the beginning of next year. The deadline to agree on the terms of the new agreement with Pixbet is January 30th.

Currently, Flamengo occupies 6th place in the Brazilian Championship league table with 53 points and 56% success rate. This Wednesday, the 8th, the team defines its aspirations in a duel against Palmeiras, at the Maracaná stadium, at 9:30 pm.
After all, six points separate the two teams that are fighting at the top of the championship. Fla still has one game less.
If the master sponsorship situation is to be resolved in the coming months, the Rio club could definitively enter the fight for the title today.
