CopyBet is the new official betting partner of Queens Park Rangers

Bookmaker CopyBet has signed an agreement to become the official betting partner of Queens Park Rangers (QPR). According to the terms agreed, the company will have its brand inserted on the back of the shirt of the main team from the beginning of the new football season.

CopyBet UK Business Development Director Anton Ivanov said: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with QPR. As passionate football fans, we are extremely happy to be involved with such a historic English club. It is set to be an exciting season for CopyBet to work with Queens Park Rangers.”

CopyBet offers pre-match and live betting with an average of 18,000 events daily and will now offer fans of the English football club a £5 no deposit free bet to place on any match throughout the season.

Euan Inglis, Commercial Director of Queens Park Rangers, stated: “We are excited about this new partnership with CopyBet. Their model is very different from others on the market with the innovative use of tipsters.

“It has been a pleasure dealing with Anton and the CopyBet team as we embark on this multi-year partnership, which will include multiple creative and collaborative initiatives,” added the commercial director.

But, it should be noted that the Premier League (English Championship) may change the rules related to sponsorships of bookmakers in an attempt to protect young people.

In return, a voluntary commitment made to the UK government, the Premier League, however, has announced plans to keep gaming industry sponsors on their shirtsleeves so Premier League clubs can retain valuable revenue.

No official announcement has yet been made about the future of deals between clubs and betting companies in the Premier League. The next edition of the national competition should start in August.
