DraftKings was chosen as the Official Sports Betting and Daily Fantasy Partner of the MLB franchise, Chicago Cubs. Apparently, the agreement should be valid for a few years.
Therefore, the contract still provides for the creation of a different sports betting system to be placed at the team’s home in Wrigley Field.

Draftkings celebrates deal with baseball team
Matt Kalish, the president of DraftKings North America, stated: “This is truly a historic moment. Since we are excited to align ourselves with the renowned Chicago Cubs franchise and the iconic Wrigley Field to provide sports bettors in Chicago with a revolutionary sports betting experience. ”

Crane Kenney, the president of Business Operations for the Chicago Cubs, also commented on the formalization of the agreement between the team and the company.
“DraftKings has been a great partner for several years. And, we are excited to expand that relationship as sports betting grows rapidly in Illinois. ”
Kenney further stated that “an increasing number of sports fans want to integrate sports betting into their gaming experience. And, we are excited to be one of the first to get involved in the development of retail sports betting in a professional sports space ”.
