The Potomac Winter Poker Open is back at MGM National Harbor in Maryland, United States.
And this time the poker tournament will provide 13 days full of exciting events and big prizes. This year, participants will have the opportunity to win more than US$2 million spread across 17 main events.
The Potomac Winter Poker Open will feature highlight events, including a $750,000 guarantee opener, a $3,500 High Roller and a $1,000,000 guarantee main event.
While other events include 5-Card Pot-Limit Omaha High for players over 50, a Cakes Classic Bounty, and a tournament dedicated to newcomers.
Therefore, MGM National Harbor is a two-level casino, offering more than 160,000 square feet of gaming space featuring slots, table games and poker. The resort currently has a 24-story hotel with 308 rooms.
The location provides guests with views of the east bank of the Potomac River, as well as access to restaurants, a SPA and a large area for holding social events and business meetings.
Maryland casino revenue reaches $165.6 million in December
Maryland’s six casinos generated $165.6 million in gaming revenue in December. All of this resulted in an increase of 0.3% compared to December 2022 and 5% higher than the U$157.7 million accumulated in November.
Additionally, the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Commission reported that MGM National Harbor led the way with $70.8 million in revenue.
MGM National Harbor was followed by Live! Casino & Hotel with revenue of US$60.6 million. Horseshoe Casino recorded US$15.2 million, Ocean Downs Casino US$7 million, Hollywood Casino US$7.6 million and Rocky Gap Casino US$4.4 million. Maryland’s six casinos offer both slot machines and table games.
