The World Poker Tour is set to venture into the People’s Republic of China. In partnership with Allied Gaming & Entertainment (AGAE) and Wynn Macau, the WPT will be hosted in Macau this June.

Adam Pliska, CEO of the WPT, commented on the event: “Macau has been a sought-after destination for us for a long time, wanting to deliver the WPT experience to the region. Thank you to AGAE and Wynn Macau for helping us expand our global presence. We are looking forward to an incredible event.”

After two decades in operation Macau receives the WPT

The WPT Macau festival will take place from June 18-24 and will be headlined by a HK$40,000 buy-in championship event scheduled for June 20-24.

Then, another very famous tournament that is also on the schedule is the WPT High Roller event with a buy-in of HK$200,000, which will take place on June 19th to 20th.

It will be the first time that the WPT holds an event in Macau.
