Fenae-alerta-sobre-possivel-golpe-com-nome-da-instituicao

Fenae (National Federation of Caixa Staff Associations) received an alert from an employee at Caixa Econômica Federal, reporting a scam.

A sports betting group on WhatsApp, using the Fenae and Apcef (Caixa Staff Association) logo, is active.

According to the complaint, the scammers promise immediate payment, but do not deliver. In view of this, Fenae emphasizes the importance of reporting, recommending filing a police report and reporting it on WhatsApp itself.

Fenae emphasizes that it does not contact via WhatsApp or social networks to request payments, whether from active employees, retirees, pensioners or Apcefs members. “Be careful! Safety comes first”, says the entity’s note.

Regulation of the sports betting sector not only curbs undue practices but also brings clarity to the market, identifying companies authorized in the national territory.

This will certainly help prevent further fraud linked to the gambling market.
