Sportradar estende parceria com a NASCAR por mais de 4 anos.

NASCAR has teamed up with Sportradar to announce a four-year extension to its long-term media data rights partnership.

As a result of the agreement, betting data will now be included and will result in Sportradar not only providing NASCAR‘s digital media partners with live timing and scoring data, but also driving engagement in sports betting.

Eric Conrad, Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Content at Sportradar, commented on the deal: “As the sports industry’s leading technology company and trusted partner of bookmakers and media companies, Sportradar is uniquely positioned to support NASCAR in capturing commercial opportunities”.

“Our ability to leverage these rights in the marketplace will enrich the NASCAR experience for fans,” added Conrad.

NASCAR is a big hit with North American bettors.

As NASCAR’s official data partner, Sportradar provides data on all three of the entity’s national series:

  • NASCAR Cup Series;
  • NASCAR Xfinity Series;
  • NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

“Our partnership with Sportradar is critical to our sports betting strategy, from ensuring the integrity of our product to quickly providing accurate and reliable data to authorized gaming operators and media partners,” said Joe Solosky, Director of Sports Betting from NASCAR.

“The addition of official betting data to the partnership will continue to drive NASCAR’s rapid growth in the sports betting space and allow fans to become even more involved with the sport,” added Solosky.

NASCAR made its foray into legal sports betting in September 2020 when it became the first league to join the American Gambling Association (AGA).

Since then, sports betting on NASCAR has increased, with bookmakers reporting a 51.5% increase in the total amount wagered on NASCAR in 2022 compared to the previous year.

Authorized NASCAR game operators include BetMGM, FanDuel and Penn Entertainment.
