Bally's announces new partnership with Stakelogic

Bally’s Corporation has announced that it has signed an agreement with live casino provider Stakelogic.

The deal follows passage of the Rhode Island Online Gaming Act, extending Bally’s role as the sole casino operator in the state to include online gaming.

Bally’s will use Stakelogic studio software and technology to launch a live online casino in Rhode Island in April 2024 featuring games including Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat.

Robeson Reeves, CEO of Bally’s Corporation, said: “We are excited to partner with Stakelogic to bring our online live casino operations to Rhode Island.

“With a partner like Stakelogic, we know we’re doing our best and we’re confident we can provide our Rhode Island customers with a truly exciting live dealer experience.”

Stakelogic CEO Stephan van den Oetelaar added, “We are very excited about our partnership with Bally’s as it will finally allow Stakelogic to bring its technology to the United States.”

“It will also allow us to build on our tremendous growth since launching the live casino 14 months ago, positioning Stakelogic as a technology leader in the iGaming industry.”

A bill to legalize online casino gambling in Rhode Island became law after being signed into law by Governor Daniel McKee in June.

The legislation allows residents over the age of 21 to play table games remotely using a computer or mobile app. Players must be located within the state.

The law gives Bally’s exclusive rights to operate through its Twin River and Twin River-Tiverton properties, with IGT as supplier.

Illinois Gaming Board Gives Approval for Bally’s Temporary Casino in Chicago

The Illinois Gaming Board has approved a “preliminary suitability determination” for Bally’s to operate a temporary casino in the former Medinah Temple in River North, Chicago.

Bally’s hopes to open the temporary casino by the end of the summer.

The measure allows the company to continue the process of preparing the site and hiring employees.

Applicants deemed “preliminary suitable” may complete the necessary tasks for a pre-opening audit, operational test and eventual issuance of a temporary operating license.
