CAIXA Lotteries granted BRL 5.12 billion in the first half of 2023 in social benefits for numerous priority areas in the country, such as security, public safety, health, education, sports and culture.

The amounts passed on to legal beneficiaries were a record and represented an increase of 2.5% compared to those made in the same period of 2022, when around BRL 5 billion were sent.

It should be noted that Social Repass is a Caixa Lotteries activity that, in addition to highlighting the life-changing dreams of players with their millionaire prizes, is a relevant source of funds to help Brazil grow.

This happens because almost half of the total amount raised with the games, including the percentage destined for Income Tax, is destined for investment in priority sectors of the country. Details of social transfers are available for anyone to follow on the CAIXA Lotteries website.

By the end of June this year, Caixa Loterias had obtained more than 10 billion reais. The result of this first half is also due to Mega-Sena, R$ 3.7 billion, and Lotofácil, R$ 3.4 billion.

In addition, the special draws promoted during the period broke sales records. Dupla de Easter raised R$109 million and Quina de São João raised around R$420 million.

The CAIXA Lotteries offered R$ 3.38 billion in prizes in the first half of the year. The amount is 1.3% higher than that recorded in the same period of 2022, when BRL 3.33 billion were offered.
