This Monday, August 1st, Caixa finally opened the bets for the Lotofácil da Independência 2022. The minimum bet is BRL 2.50 with a value of BRL 160 million as a prize, which is not accumulated.
In addition to accredited lottery houses, bets can also be placed on the Caixa Loterias website or app. To make your guess, the player has to fill in 15 to 20 numbers between 01 and 25 and hope that his selected 15 are drawn.
Lotofácil also allows group betting, with Bolão Caixa. In this modality, the pools have a minimum value of R$ 10, and each quota cannot be below R$ 3.
If no 15-number bet wins the prize, those who match 14 split the winning amount, and so on.
Last year, 57 bets hit the 15 scores, sharing a record prize of R$ 159.1 million – the biggest prize in the history of Lotofácil da Independência drawn since then.
The collection of the 2021 contest also broke a record for the modality, recording a value of R$ 517.4 million. According to Caixa, the result was 39% higher than the 2020 special competition, which raised R$373 million.
