Betnacional, a member of the NSX Group, assumes the naming rights of the Brasileirão Series B, replacing Betano. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has already updated the competition’s official channels to reflect this change, which will come into force this weekend.
The dynamics of partnerships in naming rights for the main divisions of the Brazilian Championship continue to evolve. After succeeding the wholesaler Assaí as main sponsor of Série A (in a contract estimated at between R$70 million and R$80 million), Betano cedes space in Série B to Betnacional, another betting company.
Last Thursday (18), CBF updated the competition’s social networks. Thus, inserting Betnacional in Instagram hashtags and changing the name of the profile on the old Twitter.
In addition to its participation in Série A, Betano also holds the naming rights to the Copa do Brasil since 2023, in an agreement brokered by the Brax agency, valid until 2025. Previously, Intelbras was the main sponsor of the tournament.
The previous year, Betano acquired the naming rights for the Supercopa do Brasil, while in 2024 it also took over this ownership for the women’s version of the tournament.
In turn, Betnacional expands its presence in competitions beyond club sponsorship, including the naming rights of the Campeonato Pernambucano in its list of partnerships.
