Flamengo is in negotiations with Pixbet, a bookmaker that is currently a master sponsor, aiming to increase the company’s investments.

The current contract, approved by the Deliberative Council in December 2023, stipulates the amount of R$170 million for two years.

Although there is speculation that this amount could be reduced to R$120 million annually, there has not yet been a definitive consensus between the parties.

Since its association with the club in 2022, the Pixbet bookmaker has disbursed R$85 million annually to the red and black, in return, for the exposure of its brand in the men’s and women’s football teams, as well as in basketball.

One of the alternatives being analyzed by the club to enable an increase in transfers is to increase the number of teams and sports that would bear the sponsor’s logo.

Approval of other sponsorships at Flamengo besides Pixbet

Recently, Flamengo’s Deliberative Council also approved the expansion of Banco BRB’s sponsorship of the club.

Now, the brand, which previously occupied space on the shoulder of the shirt during the first half of 2024 for R$6.2 million, will extend its presence until April 2026 with an annual contribution of R$25 million.

In addition, the rubro-negro also renewed its link with the National Bank. The minimum value of the contract, previously established according to the number of associated customers, was set at R$15 million annually.

With these new provisions, the total values reach R$40 million, equivalent to the amount that BRB paid in 2023 for the prominent display on the front of the club’s shirt.

Sponsorship lists

According to O Globo, the list of sponsorship values for Flamengo’s shirt is as follows:

  • Pixbet (Master): R$85 million annually
  • Adidas (Material supplier): R$69 million annually
  • Banco BRB (Ombro): R$25 million annually
  • Mercado Livre (Costas): R$ 21.5 million annually
  • Kwai (Manga): R$10 million annually
  • ABC (Short): R$7.1 million annually
  • Assist Card (Back bar): R$8.5 million annually
  • Tim (Number): R$7 million annually
  • Zé Delivery (Meião): R$6.8 million annually

These movements reflect not only the dynamism of the sports sponsorship market, but also the continued appreciation of the Flamengo brand, the club that earns the most in the country from sponsorships.
