The Proof of Concept (PoC) of 1xBet to operate fixed-odd sports betting and Ilottery in the State of Rio de Janeiro is scheduled for Friday (15), at 1:30 p.m., as the LOTERJ Permanent Bidding Committee confirmed the authorization of the company.
The Rio entity guaranteed that the betting company fully meets the conditions established by Accreditation Notice No. 01/2023 and its Annexes, accessible here.
Arinete Mattos de Souza, president of the Permanent Bidding Commission for the Lottery of the State of Rio de Janeiro – LOTERJ, highlighted that 1xBet Brasil Intermediação de Negócios is qualified to continue in the process of obtaining a license.
This license will allow operations exclusively in a virtual environment, with online access, covering passive lotteries and specific numerical and sports prediction lotteries.
In addition, instant lotteries and fixed-odd sports betting, as well as the categories provided for in Law No. 14,790/2023 and the sports modalities recognized in Law No. 13,873/2019.
The next stage will consist of the Proof of Concept (PoC) to evaluate the objective technical requirements necessary to operate Fixed Odds Sports Betting and Ilottery. This assessment will take place at the municipality’s headquarters.
It is important to highlight that the bookmakers Apostau, Bestbet, Marjosports and Pixbet are already in operation with a license from LOTERJ.
