Creating strong partnerships and forming a strong team, also, outside the four lines, has been one of Chape’s objectives. Therefore, Chapecoense agreed to a sponsorship beyond this 2024 season with KTO, a brand in the online gaming sector.
The company’s brand is already appearing on the shoulder blade region of the alviverde t-shirt.
With the new sponsorship contract – which is valid until February 2025 –, Verdão and KTO intend to promote a series of activations in order to highlight the partnership between the brands and, mainly, to value the club’s fans.
Alex Passos, president of Chapecoense, praised the partnership with KTO. “For Chapecoense, making this link with KTO official is a reason for great joy, mainly due to the solidity and responsibility that the company has with the segment”.
“They are a reference in the online gaming market and, because of this, they were our favorite. Therefore, we are very happy and grateful to KTO for investing in our Chape”, he added.
For Cássio Filter, country manager at KTO, the profile of the western region of Santa Catarina was essential for consolidating the agreement.
“Chapecó is nationally recognized for its involvement with sport in various modalities. Chape is the greatest expression of this culture that represents the 118 cities in the region before Brazil and the world”, he states.
Debut of the KTO brand on the Chapecoense uniform
It is worth noting that KTO’s first appearance in the club’s uniform occurred in the clash with Figueirense, valid for the 10th round of the Catarinense Championship.
On that occasion, Verdão do Oeste was beaten 1-0 at Arena Condá. Subsequently, the team was defeated by Criciúma and ended its participation in the State Championship.
With the result, Chapecoense was in 9th place in the table and, therefore, did not advance to the next phase of the Catarinense Championship.
In this way, the KTO partner team will have the second division of the Brazilian Championship ahead of them.
