Betsson announced this Monday (19), the completion of the acquisition of Holland Gaming Technology Ltd and Holland Power Gaming BV. The two Dutch companies specialize in online and casino games.
It is important to highlight that Holland Gaming Technology Ltd holds a license to operate online casino games in the Netherlands
In turn, Holland Power Gaming BV is responsible for the exclusive development of casino games for Holland Gaming Technology Ltd.
The total value of the acquisition reaches 27.5 million euros, with an initial payment of 16 million euros at the closing of the transaction. The remaining amounts, 9 million and 2.5 million euros, will be paid in six and twelve months, respectively.
Betsson anticipates that this acquisition will contribute significantly to its participation in local regulated markets over time. In other words, aligning with your strategy of profitable growth through geographic expansion.
But, the closing of the transaction is subject to approval by the Dutch online gaming regulator, KSA.
