The Prizes and Betting Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance recognized the capacity of the company Gaming Laboratories International LLC (GLI) as a certifying entity for sports betting systems and online games.
The information was published in the Official Gazette of the Union on Friday (22).
Therefore, the substitute Secretary of Prizes and Bets, Simone Aparecida Vicentini signed the ordinance. The measure came into force promptly.

“SPA/MF ORDINANCE No. 504, OF MARCH 22, 2024
THE SECRETARY OF PRIZES AND BETS SUBSTITUTES THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE, in the use of the powers conferred on it by art. 55, item I, item “d”, of Annex I of Decree No. 11,907, of January 30, 2024, considering the provisions of item I of art. 4th of Ordinance MF-SPA/MF nº 300, of February 24, 2024, resolves:
Art. 1 Recognize the operational capacity of the company Gaming Laboratories International LLC as a certifying entity for betting systems, live gaming studios and online games to be used by fixed-odd betting lottery operators.
Single paragraph. The recognition referred to in the caput is valid for a period of three years, counting from the publication of this Ordinance, as long as the conditions of legal qualification, tax and labor regularity, suitability and technical qualification demonstrated in the files of SEI Process No. 14022.015312/2024 are maintained. 50, according to SEI Technical Note nº 540/2024/MF, under the terms of art. 17 of Ordinance MF-SPA/MF nº 300, of February 24, 2024.
Art. 2 This Ordinance comes into force on the date of its publication.
