Since last June, the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti in the Brazilian national team in 2024 has been taken for granted by a large part of the press. However, while his hiring is not confirmed, the CBF announced Fernando Diniz as the coach of Brazil. During the signing announcement event, CBF president Ednaldo Rodrigues even said that Ancelotti will be with Brazil, but there is still no official contract with the Italian. A curiosity is that Diniz was the coach who received the most bets on Betfair in the race for the post of commander of the Brazilian National Team. He appeared with 21% of the bets received, followed by Jorge Jesus (20%), Dorival Júnior (14%) and Abel Ferreira (11%). Ancelotti was tied for third place, with 14% of bets received.
