FanDuel Group, part of Flutter Entertainment, has signed an exclusive content deal with US sports media personality Pat McAfee.
The deal, which will run for several years, will allow FanDuel to remain the official bookmaker of Pat McAfee Inc. (PMI) and the Pat McAfee Show, and significantly expand the previous agreement with the inclusion of a formalized content partnership.
In addition to being the official sports betting brand, FanDuel and PMI will deepen and develop the integration of aspects such as odds boosting and other promotions across PMI platforms.
The partnership will also create new shows and segments spanning annual special editions to support major events. Also included is the development of tours for live events and roadshows throughout the year.
Mike Raffensperger, director of marketing for FanDuel Group, said: “Put simply, Pat McAfee is the fastest growing star in the sports media industry and we are excited to deepen our relationship with him as our exclusive partner. Pat and his team champion the FanDuel brand and together we develop innovative content experiences for its audience and our customers.”
McAfee, who played his entire professional career for the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL, commented, “This new contract with FanDuel will give us the opportunity to take things to a different level. We’re incredibly lucky that our show’s exclusive betting service remains #1 in America. I’m excited for the future.”
FanDuel and PMI have been working together for many years
Prior to this partnership extension, FanDuel and PMI worked together for many years, with the Pat McAfee Show building a reputation as the gold standard of live odds integration.
Flutter Entertainment operates worldwide, owning Paddy Power, Betfair and Sky Betting & Gaming in the UK and Ireland, as well as PokerStars internationally.
