Playtech and Wplay close strategic partnership for the Colombian market

Playtech announced the launch of its IMS technology platform in partnership with operator Wplay, from Colombia. The new platform will include all Wplay online and retail titles.

This new platform will give customers the opportunity to enjoy a much simpler and faster experience. Players will also be able to place bets more quickly, with more data and the possibility to customize their preferences regarding events, markets and sports.

“Wplay chose Playtech as a strategic partner to offer its omnichannel platform and marketing services across all of the company’s retail and online operations,” said Uri Levy, vice president of Business Development at Playtech.

He continued: “The strength and quality of the Wplay brand, combined with Playtech’s 20 years of leadership in the industry, will help us grow in the Colombian market.”

In the middle of last year, the two companies entered into a technology sharing partnership, allowing the provider to gain space in the Colombian and Latin American scene.

Playtech celebrates advances in Latin America
