The Easter Duo, the first special CAIXA Lottery competition of 2024, draws a prize estimated at R$35 million this Saturday (30).

Bets can be placed until 7pm at lotteries across the country, as well as on the CAIXA Lotteries portal and app.

As in other special CAIXA Lottery competitions, the Easter Duo does not accumulate.

If there are no winners in the main draw, the prize will be divided between the winners in the corner of the first draw and so on, according to the rules of the sport.

The draw can be followed in person at Espaço da Sorte, located at Avenida Paulista, nº 750, in São Paulo (SP) and will be broadcast live on the CAIXA channel on YouTube and on Loterias CAIXA’s Facebook page.

This is the eighth edition of the Dupla Sena special contest.

The biggest prize in the sport was the 2023 Easter Double, when two bets divided the total of R$34.9 million.

How to bet on the Easter Double?

With just one Dupla Sena ticket, the bettor has twice the chance of winning: there are two draws per contest and you win by matching three, four, five or six numbers in the first or second draw.

Therefore, the bettor must choose six to 15 numbers from the 50 available to play in Dupla Sena.

The bettor also has the option of requesting the Surpresinha, which is when the system chooses the numbers.

A single bet currently costs R$2.50.

To increase the chances of winning, players can also participate in pools, which are held at lottery outlets. Simply form a group, choose the bet numbers, select the number of odds and register at any of the country’s lottery offices.

When registered in the system, the bet generates a quota receipt for each participant who, in the event of a prize, will be able to redeem their part of the prize individually.

In addition, the player can also purchase shares in pools organized by lotteries. Just ask the attendant for the number of odds you want and keep the receipt to check the bet on the day of the draw.

In this case, an additional service fee of up to 35% of the quota value may be charged, at the lottery’s discretion.

In Dupla Sena, prize pools have a minimum price of R$10. Each share cannot be less than R$2.50. It is possible to create a pool of at least two and a maximum of 50 shares.

A maximum of ten bets per pool are permitted. In the case of a pool with more than one bet, all of them must contain the same number of numbers bet.
