Sport sponsorship

With regard to sport, CAIXA plays a fundamental role, being the paying agent for Bolsa Atleta, an individual sponsorship program for Brazilian athletes.

In 2023, it renewed sponsorship contracts with the Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CPB) and the Brazilian Athletics Confederation (CBAt).

In addition, it signed partnerships with the National Basketball League and the Women’s Basketball League, reinforcing its commitment to the development of national sport.

But investment in sports is not limited to just sponsoring events and athletes. CAIXA also invests in social inclusion and the development of new talents.

Caixa supports the creation of Real Digital (DREX)

Another relevant point is CAIXA’s support for the creation of Real Digital (DREX), the new Brazilian digital currency. Through a pilot project in partnership with ELO and Microsoft, CAIXA is conducting privacy tests to validate market solutions.

This aims to improve financial services, lower costs and democratize access to financial transactions.

Therefore, with the arrival of DREX and the use of technologies such as blockchain and tokenization, greater agility in financial transactions is expected. This will positively impact several sectors, especially real estate financing.
