Getting the prizes

Prizes of up to R$2,112.00 can be received at any accredited lottery outlet or at Caixa Econômica Federal bank branches. However, gross premiums above this amount are paid exclusively at the institution’s branches.

Caixa recommends that the gambler already write the full name and CPF on the back of the winning bet receipt to ensure that no one picks up the prize in their place. The ticket will be non-transferable. Otherwise, the ticket is bearer. In case of sweepstakes, each participant can do the same on the back of their individual quota receipt.

Lottery prizes must be claimed within 90 days of drawing. After this period, the prescribed award is transferred to the Higher Education Financing Fund (Fies), according to Law 13,756/18.
