Mega-Sena single bet matches the six numbers and will receive BRL 66 million

A simple bet guessed the six tens of the Mega-Sena contest 2,598, held last Saturday night, the 3rd. The winner from Rio Grande da Serra, in Greater São Paulo, alone won a prize of R$ 66,093,916.13. The bet was made on the Rio Grande lottery. The numbers that came out were as follows: 07 – 14 – 24 – 53 – 58 – 60.

The quina had 81 winning bets; each will pocket BRL 72,766.96. The court had 7,347 winning bets; each will earn R$ 1,146.07.

The next Mega-Sena contest will take place next Wednesday, the 7th. The prize pool is estimated at R$ 3 million. In last Wednesday’s contest, the 31st, the prize accumulated. The minimum bet for the Mega-Sena costs R$5 (after the readjustment on April 30th) and can also be promoted online, until 7pm.

Bets can be placed until 7 pm (Brasília time), in any lottery shop in the country or online, on the Caixa Econômica Federal website – accessible by cell phone, computer or other devices. You need to register, be of legal age (18 years or older) and fill in your credit card number.

The probability of winning in each Mega-Sena contest varies according to the number of dozens played and the type of bet placed. For the simple bet, with only six tens, which costs R$5, the probability of winning the millionaire prize is 1 in 50,063,860, according to Caixa Econômica.

For a bet with 15 dozens (maximum limit), priced at BRL 22,522.50, the probability of hitting the prize is 1 in 10,003, according to Caixa.
