Two bets will divide the biggest prize of a regular Mega-Sena draw

Finally, the Mega-Sena prize is out! This Saturday, October 1, two bets matched the six numbers of the 2525 contest. Each bet will receive a prize of R$ 158,926,894.27 from the draw held at Espaço Loterias Caixa, in São Paulo (SP).

According to the Caixa Econômica Federal website, one of the winning bets was made in the city of Fernandópolis (SP) and the other was made electronically. Last Saturday’s contest accumulated a total prize pool of BRL 317,853,788.53, the highest nominal value of a regular Mega-Sena draw in history.

The tens drawn in this historic contest were as follows: 04 – 13 – 21 – 26 – 47 – 51. The corner came out to 814 bets, each one receiving the prize of R$ 33,910.24. The court, in turn, awarded 52,760 bets, each one will pocket R$ 747.39.

Those who intend to continue betting on the Mega-Sena will have another opportunity this week. Contest 2526 will be held at 8 pm on Wednesday, 5th, also in São Paulo. The estimated prize is around R$ 3 million.

Bets on the Mega Sena

Bets on Mega-Sena can be made until 19:00 (Brasilia time), at any lottery in the country or over the internet, on the Caixa Econômica Federal website – accessible by cell phone, computer or other devices. It is mandatory to register, be of legal age (18 years or older) and enter your credit card number.

Odds

The probability of winning in each draw varies depending on the number of numbers played and the type of bet chosen. For the simple bet, with only six tens, with a price of R$ 4.50, the probability of winning the millionaire prize is 1 in 50,063,860, according to Caixa.

While the bet with 15 tens (maximum limit), with a price of R$ 22,522.50, the probability of hitting the prize is 1 in 10,003, according to Caixa.
