Eightroom e Vpag abrem os trabalhos de 2024 de olho na regulamentação do mercado e com grande participação na ICE London confirmada

The beginning of each season is symbolic and in most cases brings important indications of the tactical positioning that large companies will occupy in the market over the next 12 months.

In the case of Eightroom and its complete Vpag payments solution, the focus must be very focused on the advanced performance of its business in a market that is heading towards a major transformation through regulation, which is a very plausible reality in the near future.

It is not yet possible to predict all the changes that gaming and betting regulations could cause for companies in the sector, but it is certain that there will be transformations and brands that operate in the different layers of this ecosystem will need to adapt their operations to comply with the new regulations.

This adaptation process is already a priority for Eightroom, which sees this challenge as one of the main institutional tasks at the beginning of 2024.

Talking to some of the company’s executives, we identified some of the highlights of this moment. We share it below.

Over almost two decades of operation and a vast list of success stories, one of Eightroom’s biggest differentiators is delivering results through its marketing products.

In view of this, the company is already anticipating the self-regulation rules for betting advertising in Brazil, presented by Conar, so that both marketing products (which already followed MGA guidelines), and Vpag, are in compliance with Annex X of the National Advertising Self-Regulation Council.

As part of this process, Eightroom is preparing to only serve operators who have obtained, or who have expressed interest, in obtaining the license.

For the others, neither financial products (Wallet and Flash) nor marketing services will be offered. This stance explicitly reaffirms the company’s commitment to operating towards a regulated market.

Still within Vpag’s field of activity, the brand is already authorized to create payment accounts registered with the Central Bank for Brazilian users. But it doesn’t stop there, there are other good practices that should attract the attention of major players in the market.

The art. 23 of the Betting Law deals with the verification of the bettor’s identity. This is a rule for operators, but it is certainly also in line with the verification process carried out by Vpag, which in turn already has active technologies to validate documents and verify identity in less than 5 minutes.

Such actions added to the product’s continuous effort in the user experience contribute to greater player value.

All of these issues add to the company’s other priorities and will be debated during the edition of ICE London 2024, which takes place between the 6th and 8th of February in the English capital

Last year, Eightroom announced first-hand important details about Vpag at the conference. Such topics were deepened, worked on and then officially released throughout the season.

This is one of the biggest events in the sector and a very relevant opportunity to connect with other global players who are also operating at a high level.

Eightroom will take 12 representatives to London, including CEO, directors and specialists in areas such as payments, content and sales. Vpag‘s stand will be N10-251 while Eightroom’s will be S9-250.

If you or your company is at ICE, this is a great opportunity to connect.
