The 2024 Brazilian Women’s Championship starts this Friday (15), marking the beginning of a new season full of expectations and sponsorship from the betting market.

Currently, 14 of the 16 participating clubs are under the sponsorship of sports betting platforms. Thus, highlighting a trend that echoes in the men’s football scene.

The only exceptions are Grêmio and Real Brasília, showing a significant concentration of support from this sector.

Ferroviária, one of the most emblematic teams in women’s football with two titles won (2014 and 2019), has master sponsorship from galera.bet, a partnership that has lasted since 2023 and was recently extended until 2026.

Brazilian women’s football championship awards

As for this year’s prize pool, the champion will receive R$1.5 million, while the runner-up will receive R$750,000, an increase compared to the previous season. In addition, the CBF will distribute a total of R$6 million in quotas to participants.
