Betsson, one of the world’s leading betting operators, is the new global sponsor of Atlético Nacional. Colombia’s most popular football club will feature a new logo on its shirts for the first time in 23 years.

This three-year agreement confirms Betsson’s long-term commitment to sports in Latin America and continued growth in the region.

Details of the agreement between Betsson and Atlético Nacional

In a statement, Atlético Nacional gave the following statement: “We welcome Betsson with open arms. A company with a global presence and expansion projects in Latin America that aligns with our objective of being a reference in international football. Together, we are sure of that we will win great titles”.

Since its founding in 1947, the club has won 33 titles, including two Copa Libertadores. In addition to financial support for the club, also known as Los Verdolagas, Betsson will be an active sponsor, providing excitement and surprises for fans.

Jesper Svensson, CEO of Betsson Operations, expressed pride in the sponsorship, saying: “We are honored to be the main sponsor of the legendary Rey de Copas (King of Cups), the biggest and most successful team in the history of Colombian football.”

The partnership comes as Betsson has just celebrated its 60th anniversary. In this way, the company further solidifies our position as one of the main supporters of Latin American sports.

Company also sponsors Argentine teams

Thus, the Betsson logo will be present on the shirts of the Atlético Nacional men’s and women’s teams since the start of the 2024 Colombian football season.

As the teams prepare for 2024, their main challenge will be to win as many trophies as possible in the tournaments they will compete in this year.

Betsson’s sponsorship portfolio extends globally, with a strong presence across multiple sports and football clubs.

In Latin America, Betsson is proud to be the main sponsor of two of the main Argentine teams, Boca Juniors and Racing de Avellaneda.
