With the help of Neymar, Santos prepares to announce Blaze as the new master sponsor

Santos is preparing to announce a sponsorship contract valid for the next two years with sports betting company Blaze. The bookmaker must occupy the most privileged space in the shirt of Peixe as a master sponsor, and the amount can reach up to 45 million reais per year.

According to GE.com, the negotiation was articulated by the club’s president, Andres Rueda, in partnership with Neymar’s father. The number 10 of PSG, France, and the Brazilian national team acts as an ambassador for the operator and also contributed to the conversations. Recently, the star gained great repercussions when he had a ‘loss of 1 million euros’ in a marketing campaign promoted by the brand.

However, Santos still does not have an official date to announce the new agreement, but the probability is that it will take place next Friday, when the team from Baixada Santista completes 111 years of existence.

But, it is worth noting that another bookmaker occupies the most valued space on the Santos uniform. Pixbet, a company also in the sports betting sector, has a contract valid until the end of 2024. Also according to GE, the football club has already communicated that it will be able to pay the contract termination fine, if necessary.

After the conclusion of the Paulista Championship, Santos is preparing for the third phase of the Copa do Brasil. The team takes the field against Botafogo (SP) this Tuesday, April 11th. At the end of the week, Peixe will debut in Serie A of the Brazilian Championship.
