Internacional decided to bring forward the renewal of the contract with the sports betting house EstrelaBet. The bond, which was originally going to expire at the end of 2024, was extended until December 2025. The agreement establishes an amount of BRL 24 million per year.

The sponsor brand has been moved to a new position on the shirt, going from the shoulders to the back, more specifically at the bottom of the player numbering. With the change and renewal of the contract, EstrelaBet will become the largest sponsor in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

Esporte da Sorte, another company in the betting sector, offered BRL 20 million to Internacional, but the proposal was surpassed by EstrelaBet with the renewal of the contract. The new agreement will establish the payment of BRL 2 million per month to the club. The information was released by reporter Paulo Nunes, from Rádio Guaíba.

According to journalist Saimon Biachini, the previous contract with Estrela Bet paid around BRL 12 million per year, while the new agreement, which will be made official this week, before the GreNal classic, will exceed BRL 70 million. “The amount that will enter the coffers of Beira-Rio will exceed R$ 70 million”, stated Biachini.

A great stage for the International

Next Sunday (5), Internacional will face Grêmio for the 10th round of the 2023 Gaucho Championship, at 8 pm, at the Arena. Coach Mano Menezes is preparing the team for this derby with all available players.

“Best moment of the season yes. The team has a level of competition as it has to be, most of the players are at the same level of preparation. We knew what we were doing, the players too. The first draws brought pressure, I like it because it helps in the preparation of the team”, said Menezes.
