Oddschecker-boosts-your-presence-in-the-US-sports-betting-market-with-Floyd-Mayweather

Oddschecker strengthened its marketing and position in the growing US sports betting market by partnering with Floyd Mayweather Jr. to start the National Football League (NFL).

Bruin Capital’s quote comparison website plans to offer Super Bowl tips through its channels, allowing US sports fans to view and analyze NFL game predictions as more states open up their markets to regulated betting.

Under the terms of the partnership, the boxer will cooperate with the company in its US-based initiatives, helping NFL fans “guide their decision-making”.

“We are very excited to be partnering with a superstar like Floyd Mayweather,” said Matt Mirman, senior vice president, Oddschecker Global Media. “Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather is a winner in and out of the ring and we are thrilled to have our industry leading odds comparison tools helping him on his betting journey.”

An important business for Oddschecker

For Oddschecker, the deal represents a significant expansion of its US operations following its £155 million acquisition by Bruin Capital.

“I’m happy to join Oddschecker for the start of the NFL,” commented Mayweather Jr., who added, “Oddschecker gives you the best odds, picks and promotions for free so you can bet smarter.”

The American sports betting and gaming market continues to grow, with several states having already opened their jurisdictions to the industry and others in the process or preparing to do so.

According to surveys by the American Gaming Association (AGA), public opinion in the industry is also improving as the legalization and regulation of the industry develops, with a total of two-thirds expressing a supportive view.
