Crystal Palace has become the first Premier League club (English Football Championship) to partner with GAMSTOP, the UK’s free self-exclusion system for online gambling and betting.
Anyone concerned about gambling problems can visit the GAMSTOP website to exclude themselves from all licensed gaming sites in the UK, for an initial period of six months, a year or five years.
In addition, people are also encouraged to seek professional help and support from treatment providers and use GAMSTOP with other complementary tools, such as bank blocking software.
Crystal Palace will share information about the service provided by GAMSTOP on the club’s social channels, including the women’s team, and will donate awareness material at its Selhurst Park stadium. GAMSTOP will provide free training to explain how the service can help vulnerable people within the local community.
