Kambi and LeoVegas expand sports betting partnership

The world’s leading gaming and betting company, LeoVegas, has extended its partnership with the Kambi Group. Under the new multi-year extension, the company will continue to leverage Kambi’s core sports betting services and technology, powering its betting operations across different markets.

The collaboration marks the second extension between the duo. Initially, Kambi and LeoVegas joined forces in 2016. Since then, their collaboration has steadily grown and expanded, allowing LeoVegas to leverage Kambi’s award-winning technology to power its Expekt and BetUK brands.

Now, the further expansion of its global sports betting partnership will help to further expand LeoVegas’ presence in the betting vertical. In addition to its industry-leading sports betting services and technology, the new agreement sees Kambi deliver its award-winning AI-powered Bet Builder trading solution to LeoVegas.

The Kambi deal comes at a time when LeoVegas has identified sports betting as a strategic segment for further growth. The company has confirmed that it plans to introduce its multi-branded sportsbook within regulated gambling markets this year.

The companies are excited to continue their successful partnership. “Our recent successful launch of Expekt in Denmark and the rapid growth of BetUK in the UK highlight our ambitious plans to expand internationally and increase our focus on sports betting and with Kambi we have a partner that allows us to do just that” , said Per Carlander, Director of Sports Strategy at LeoVegas Group.

Carlander said that LeoVegas continually improves its offering in an effort to deliver engaging experiences to its growing customer base.

“We are delighted to extend our sports betting partnership with LeoVegas Group, a world-leading operator with a strong track record of success,” added Kristian Nylén, CEO and Co-Founder of Kambi.
